Al Karimi is an accomplished entrepreneur who has worked in IT management and technology for nearly 30 years. Al is a focused, business-minded individual who enjoys optimizing the use of technology in business environments.
Al founded Karisoft Corporation in 2001 with the goal of developing advanced software solutions that address industry-specific management and operational challenges. The company’s flagship product, IT Pro Dashboard™, was developed by Karisoft software architects and engineers to address the specific needs of IT consulting companies. It is a fully integrated, user-friendly application with more than seven years of innovation, design, implementation, and testing offering industry-leading features and functionality.
In 1999, Al co-founded MIS Alliance Corporation, an IT outsourcing company based in Newton, Mass. where he first realized the need for automation in order to serve clients better, improve the company’s efficiency and increase profitability. After developing and implemented an IT-specific ticketing system, software engineers went to work on developing a full-featured IT management solution that would become IT Pro Dashboard™. Prior to MIS Alliance, Al founded NPC Computer Corporation, a computer hardware business that assembled over 10,000 personal computers annually, generating revenues of $25M and employing more than 70 professionals. At NPC, Al designed an application for the PC manufacturing operation which was instrumental to the growth and success of the company. Prior to founding NPC, Al served as a hardware design engineer, software programmer, project manager and engineering manager at BBN Computer Corporation, a Massachusetts data communication company.
Al earned an M.S. in electrical engineering and a Ph.D. in computer engineering from Northeastern University.
Ron Farko

Ron Farko is a Software Engineer/Architect with more than 18 years of experience in the computer industry. Ron has worked on design and building micro processor control boards to teaching software engineering courses in college, and all levels of software engineering and architecture.
Prior to joining Al at Karisoft, Ron was chief architect at Adesso Systems where he designed and implemented a high performance, highly scalable distributed system to synchronize data and files online and offline. Ron joined Al at Karisoft in 2003 where he redesigned and implemented software based on the latest innovations and standards in software engineering, which is now known as IT Pro Dashboard™.
Ron earned his BS degree in Software Engineering in Iran and his Masters in Information Technology and Software Engineering from Harvard University.
